Het C+ tv kastje aan de poort van de repeater hangen zou ik niet doen.

Eerste ervaring.
Taal staat op Engels hier, sommige dingen zijn nog Duits.
Soms komen er 404 meldingen bij menu’s.
Ik zie dat een IPv6 adressen anders zijn. FD64: valt me op.
(Toevallige berekening van een Ipv6 adres volgens RFC 4193)
Mesh kun je pimpen met symbolen.
MESH overzicht is een beetje een flipperkast.
Wis vooral de browser cache na de update.
In het MESH overzicht schakelt een LAN ook terug als hij idle is.
Bij een andere PC gaat hij naar 100Mbit/s als hij uit is.
Achter de 1750E staat niet meer dat er naar een update gezocht wordt.
Verbinding met de GUI heeft nu een IPv6 voorkeur.
Schoonheidsfoutjes.
Las dat een netmask voor IPv4 ruimer dan /24 nog een probleem is.
Omdat je alleen het 4e getal kunt wijzigen bij vaste adressen.
Laat ook niet duidelijk zien of DoT wel werkt.

Kreeg melding dat er nieuwe firmware is. Nieuwe beta update voor de 5590 lukt niet. Krijg melding fout in het update bestand of de melding update bestand is ouder dan de firmware die nu gebruikt wordt. En dat klopt niet.
Nieuwe firmware van de AVM website gedownload en met handmatig updaten lukte het wel.
Ik had hetzelfde probleem.
Voor de 5590, 5530 is er nu ook een reguliere update. 7.81

De 7590 (zonder AX) heeft ook een update gekregen. 
Nog een dingetje over de 5690.
Er wordt over gesproken dat het huidige model geen XGS-PON kan.
AVM: Ondersteunt glasvezel GPON tot 2,5 GBit/s, AON tot 1 GBit/s
Onderzoekers bevestigen dit.
Wel is er een toekomstig model 5690XGS in zicht.
T.a.v. de FRITZ!Box 5690.
Deze kan ALLEEN AON (Active P2P) of G.PON. Daarnaast heeft hij een xDSL poort. Geschikt voor ADSL en VDSL. Aan de binnenkant, 3 Band WiFi7, Zigbee en DECT) De FRITZ!Box 5690 XGS.Pon is dus een andere versie. Komt eind dit jaar exacte Spec´s nu nog niet 100% bekend.

Hi, er zijn geen plannen voor een nieuwe firmware voor de FRITZ!Box 5490
Misschien kan iemand vanuit AVM meekijken om de OpenWRT ondersteuning te verbeteren? Vanuit milieu-oogpunt is het zonde als de FRITZ!Box 5490 niet meer ingezet zou worden.
Op dit moment werkt de FRITZ!Box 5490 al met OpenWRT, maar mist nog functionaliteit. Er is dagelijks een nieuwe build beschikbaar:

( Dat maakt het minder groot en leidt minder snel tot verwarring voor mensen, die het principe van Lab-Version niet goed snappen. )

Het lijkt mij een heel goed idee. Ik binnen AVM doen we dat. Een draadje voor Release FW.
